Hosting24.com Database Server are NOT Reliable

My ice9web.co.cc WordPress site was hosted on Hosting24.com and for almost a month now I can not access the site.. it gives me server errors etc... can not even access the wp-admin :(

I already submit a ticket to Hosting24.com but all they said that my Domain is expired?? I explain that domain is paid for 5 years at co.cc

So I contacted co.cc support and they assured me that it is NOT expired and it is working properly they even challenge me to point the domain to any server and it will work...

Today was one of my memorable day, because I never expected to see the amazing beauty of Tagum.
Whenever someone mentions the City of Tagum the first thing that comes in mind "its just a place lang where you pass by going to this and that place . . . Oh Nothing interesting in that small City". ?minaliit ang tagum?

Well, now I was proven wrong, maybe before "it was just another place to pass by" but these days - it is a place where you can see the very organize, peaceful and productive city.

Because the text was valid that it came from Globe, meaning no number just the sender name GLOBE. I was tempted to load even though I don't really need to load as I still have enough load on my other globe SIM which I used in my mobile, mind you "share a load is not valid". By the way my Tattoo SIM was inserted on my old Nokia just to make it active.
I did load up my Tattoo SIM from my officemate who is a Globe AutoLoadMAX loader.

I never expected to make one of my dreams came true by just attending the Rodulf Golez concert on February 23, 2011...

Though I have watched recitals before, this is my first time to watch a live piano concert. I didn't know Liebestraum was included. My eyes can't believe it when we were already there - buying the tickets - then someone gave us the listeners' guide "Liebestraum" was listed.
My thoughts were "really?! He is going to play one of my favorite classical piano pieces? Wow!"
I saved a space in my camera's memory card to make sure to record this awesome rare event in my life.

How ugly it is to become beautiful?

May be the words used are not right? but what I wanted to express in Tagalog would be "gaano bah kapangit maging maganda?"

Anyway, the bottom line of this post is that after going through the ugly side of acne removal finally the result will be beautiful skin.

My acne are slowly healing but still I'm ugly with wounds all over my face.

Three days of no work no pay, I decided to play MouseHunt and CafeWorld in Facebook. . . more seriously? (as in e career gyud!) 2 of my other MH account now have Ambush the other have ACRONYM hey! I didn't know it was easy all you have to do is to concentrate and do the tactics!

I'm bored and went blog hopping on my exchange-Links List. oh my! I'm surprise that a few of them doesn't exist anymore and some have changed their site - and what forget to re-link my site?
Hmp! Once a person remove my link then I will do the same. No more strings attached forever! period.

I remember a new blogger, lets call it "page rank climber" he asked for an exchange link and because he asks nicely, I linked his blog. When his blog gain the page rank after a few months, he removed my link, I left a comment on his blog but he just ignored. When I removed his blog link after 3 months, his blog page rank became n/a. Again asks for an exchange link from me, I replied to him nicely "ok I Link your blog again with payment, because you removed my link and even ignore my comment".

When I was a neophyte in blogging, whenever I asks for an exchange link, I make sure I will never remove it once approved. So that I can visit thier blogs every free time I have to leave comment of encouragements and interesting ideas etc. . . That's why after some time their blog friends are the one asking me to link thier blog. And so, all of us formed a very strong link farm. We never remove each other link. All of us have page rank too.

Anyway, this reminds me that some people forget the meaning of "be in the vines". Or in other words "Don't remove yourself in the vines." specially if one vine accepted you wholeheartedly without payment.

This is also the same as I remember the teaching in the Bible - to be always in close with the "Word of God" (Vines). And stay in close with the Vines and not to remove God in our life.
Salvation is a free gift (without payments) that comes through hearing - the Word Of God.

Happy New Year!!!

It was more like an ordinary day we don't have media buena like we used to. I was the only one left in (from the three siblings) our house. And I think that's the reason why Mama didn't cook.

I spent so much this month more than 20 thousand this includes my 13th month pay and savings. People around me would think I'm single who doesn't have much expenses but they are wrong! They never realize I have a family and my needs.

In the morning just after washing my face my aunty called to help her how to do video call.

Then in the afternoon I did my laundry (beddings and some clothes).

I didn't realize my cell phone was left inside my room and someone was calling - two missed call.

I text the missed called person in the evening and then had dinner. Afterwards, fix on some things that needs to be done.

Davao Bloggers 2010 Christmas Party

As the season of Christmas is in the air let us not forget the main reason is Christmas with "Christ" and not with "Santa".

The first Christmas party I went to this year is "Davao Bloggers". Oh well, It's been a long time since I last attended a bloggers event like summit or Christmas party, (not a seminar, or workshop, etc.. But just socializing and bonding.) Why? Because of the rumors (at siraan) that I read from one blog to another. I decided to call it quits (muna) not to attend socializing. My attendance was only for seminar or workshop Other than that, I'm not interested anymore. (well how can you be a part of a group sila-sila lang mis mo nagsisiraan?)

I don't update my blogs as I used to for the past two years - a lot of new acquaintances came up - that turned out to be my true friends and the reality of the world around me became clear.

And so I rearrange my priorities in life and it was so evident in my actions for two years now.

Guys don't be alarmed, read this carefuly:
I am still a blogger and no matter what it takes for me to lay low and be inactive - my blogs will continue to live and so am I.

Back to the main topic of this post. . . (^_^)

Davao Bloggers Christmas Party was my come back in socializing. (Surprise at the fact) I got the gift from one of the person I silently admire (three years ago I was wishing to receive something from him. I never expect it to become reality as we never talked personally, not even "Hi or Hello"). Oh my it did came true!? Huh! And to top it all my gift was given to the person "I like". Do I need to say more? Just look at the pictures (^_^)

Timezone NCCC Mall of Davao

It's my first time to play in Timezone actually also first time to play video games (^_^)
I was with my friends Sarah and Joana, and we enjoyed the privilege via BPI Credit Card to have 5hrs and 30mins to play in Timezone. I gave 1hr to a stranger a kid that is always beside me to teach me how to play.

We went there around 2:00pm and left around 5:00pm ate dinner around 6:00pm and went to the prayer meeting afterwards.

The theme this year is “Faithful until the End” based on 1st Corinthians 4”2. We have 6 sessions and 3 workshops.
The sessions were: Faithful in Prayer, Faithful in Service, Faithful in Responsibilities, Faithful in Integrity, Faithfully Dependent, and Faithful to the End.

The Workshops are: Organization/Planning, Budgeting (How to Budget) and Time Management.

Why do I deserve an Android phone?

The first time I heard about Android OS was from Google Web developer. It was so amazing how you can just browse just almost like your PC in your mobile... pretty awesome!!!
The main reason:
I have scoliosis and I can't carry laptop or even the smallest netbook because of weight issues that can hurt my back, I have to find a way to surf online in the net just by using a mini gadgets like mobile phone with WIFI... I don't have a budget to buy a mobile such as with Android OS and so I'm praying that jezlau will give me this opportunity to have an Android OS mobile with WIFI this will help me solve some minor issues in websites and I can carry Samsung Galaxy Spica every where I go and can surf the net any time (^_^) just like carrying laptop!

Now I heard from CNSQ that Jehzlau is giving away Android Phone oh wow! another awesomeness!?

with Jehzlau permission I'm using his own images here because basically this is the very same phone I wanted to have (^_^)

Samsung Galaxy Spica with Android OS also called Android Phone can play DivX videos which is a very nice video phone since most downloadable format these days are DivX format.

For business and entrepreneur perspective we can install many applications as with the Android OS it is Google ready when it come to APIs

How was your holiday and weekend?

As for me I had a busy Holiday and weekend (^_^)

April 1 I did my laundry and cleaning of room etc... Happy April Fools Day!

April 2 We had the Good Friday service and afterwards the worship team practice for Sunday service and the rest practice for the dance presentation for 8th Calvary Chapel Davao anniversary I was out of the house from 8am to going home around 4pm

April 3 Devotion and just sleeping and resting for the whole day, I didn't eat dinner cause I want to have a long dream. I slept around 9pm.

April 4 YEAH! the Big day has come! we were all in the church around 8:30am and mixed emotions of happiness and sadness as it is Ptr. Genghis last service in Davao. I was happy to be one of his backup at the worship service. (picture is coming up)

In order to live on each day we need to digest proteins, fats, vitamins, carbohydrates, minerals and water. In a normal diet the majority of carbohydrates come from grain-based sources and proteins make out from animal-based sources or legumes. Fats come from a large variety of sources including vegetables, grains, dairy, pressed oils, meat and poultry. Fruits and vegetables are an significant source of vitamins and minerals and can provide carbohydrates and fats as well, making them a well-rounded, nutrient-dense addition to any diet.

Uses of Banana Peels

We have the most widest supplies of Bananas in our country, you can find it every where. Though we love the fruit, most of the time we throw away the peel, I realize that when I saw this post from eHow.com banana peels are indeed useful. Here are some the guidelines that I copied from eHow.com:

Banana Peel Plant Fertilizer
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Place banana peels on a cookie sheet.
Step 2
Bake the banana peels in the oven for 10 to 20 minutes or until the peels are brown and crisp. The oven helps to speed up the natural decomposing process.

How Synthetic Leather is Made

Genuine leather: if we don't know how to detect, we will not know the synthetic in genuine leather.

In my own opinion, I smell the product if it's really made of synthetic or genuine leather... there is always a distinct smell of the genuine leather right?

I have manage to saw this video on How Synthetic Leather is Made need to post it on one site for reference. so

So what do you think? it looks like the synthetic leather is more reliable than genuine?

For me, I'll choose genuine leather specially when it comes to Jackets and Bags, but if its shoes then synthetic leather will do. (^_^)

Valentines Love Day 2010

Happy Valentines Day!

I already had a hint today will be one of the busiest day as not only do we have plans for getting together as worship team... we also have visitors from CCTC Calvary Chapel Training Center (^_^)

We are all excited welcoming the CCTC team from Dumaguete, our Pastor already told us that this week will be busy.

CC-Davao family was complete to know that Alrai went home to be with us on valentines day! (^_^) We were not expecting, but he surprises us and we thank God for it.

I woke up early, around 7am, read the Bible preparing myself... (^_^) why I woke up so late? because we had OBS outreach at Cabantian and Movie Showing - Saturday (a day before Valentines) we went home 9:30pm Saturday from Cabantian.

I was really tired but very happy, God provided me a ride home (Alrai drove us with his car) we first return all the equipment at the Church, so basically we finish around 10pm

Now, Sunday today valentines!

I experience the Love (not just the Love you feel when you have a Boy Friend or Girl Friend)... on this year valentines, God let me realize and feel the true "Agape" Love that can't be compared or even explain in words. I learned that when you give your Love to Lord God everything will come out amazing and surprising.

31st Day of 2010: "Awesome" Ladies Retreat and Sunday Service

Today was one of the awesome Sunday service in Calvary Chapel Davao and I'm so happy to be part of it.
Pastor John Michaels is from Calvary Chapel Spring Valley, Las Vegas. His first visit here in Davao City was 20 years ago in Tagum. And he said that Davao City has change a lot in 20 years where he can remember he can't go around the City as it is not safe.
In Pastor John Michaels teaching it was from A Spirit of Infirmity from Luke 13:10

It was a very enlightening to know about religion and relationship.

Calvary Chapel always believed that "Christianity is not a religion but a relationship with Jesus".

Yesterday Ladies Retreat was my first time to attend in a Christian Retreat, it was very touching and Blessed to be a part of it. More like a seminar because I learned a lot from what the speaker Dianna Michaels shared with us and all the ladies whom also shared their own Devotional Testimonies.

I would say, yesterday and today was one of memorable days we have experience here in Calvary Chapel Davao.

Amazing! I just read the news: Philippines have the Guinness book of record for the biggest mango in the world (biggest heart fruit (^_^) from the Island of "Mindanao" Iligan City, Bodiongan family grew mango in their backyard and it over grown up to 3.5 kilo... imagine 3.5 kilo? for photo click

Marriage License Renewal

I was very surprise to hear in our local radio AM news at ABS-CBN that there will be marriage license renewal!

(huh! as in? are you sure of this?)

If this will happen, gone are the days when the marriage vows are to be taken seriously "Til death do us part"?
Now what will the vow be? Till renewal to us part?

We Christians should be aware of the way marriage begins to reflect the reality of human behaviour = "the world".

Some said that this will be the answer here in Philippines, since we don't have divorce and annulment takes time and lots of money... is renewal really the answer?

The answer begins with one questions, how do you really take marriage as what the Bible speaks.

Oh my, this topic is a very interesting debate.

A man is like a wolf, you can't trust a man, but concerning Christians they love each other even if we don't know each other. Our love for others can be found in one source and that is God.

It is hard to love as by nature we are self-seeking, Eros - shallow love, Phileo - brotherly love, Agape - unconditional love.

Do you love all belivers? The perfect example is Jesus, even thou He was on the cross He said "forgive them for they don't know what the do"
The fruit of the spirit are Love, self-control, Grace, mercy

Anybody that says He love God but hate his brother is a liar.
To forgive those people who sins against us.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

What makes not being fruitful in our Christian walk is not forgiving and forget. Not to talk about it anymore.

Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Never count sins of others as God forgive you.

If you Love one another they will see Jesus in us.

1 John 2:5 But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him:

If you don't love one another ask yourself, did you truly received God?

Struggling is a good thing but if you keep on hating people then you will reap what you sow.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

Romans 8:26-27

Romans 8:26-27 verses "enlighten" me these days as I'm experiencing trials, one problem after another (since I came from Cebu), being accused of things that I didn't do. And to be judge (thought badly) by someone you least expected. Sometimes I just don't know what words to pray anymore... all you can do is cry. (T_T)

But, still I can forgive and forget inspite of all the accusation and judgement that the enemy may try to use any person to test my faith in Almighty God.

You can give without Love, but You can't Love without giving.

Hananiah 5th Birthday Party

Anyway, today is a very special day November 21 not only its a month of celebration in one aspect of my life but also its the birthday of Hananiah Guillen! yippeee! she is now 5 years old.

Lahug, Cebu City CC Conference 2009

My first time in Cebu City, one thing I notice right away there are so many vandalism in the streets... I wonder if the aerosol paint are very cheap in Cebu or the gangster are rich?

Anyway, we left Davao City Oct. 20 around 6:00am and my goal there is to attend the Calvary Chapel Conference in Lahug, Cebu City. A very worth remembering week for me here I get to know the people very well and also have met an unforgettable moment I will cherish for the rest of my life.

By the way, we left Davao City around 6:00 in the morning I saw Max Surban in the airport and we have the same Philippines Airlines flight.

We arrived in Mactan International Airport around 7am with a cloudy day. Directly go at EcoTech to leave our belongings then go straight in Ayala Mall (^_^)

How do we travel light?

Traveling light can be very difficult. How do we travel light?

When it comes to buying a promo airplane tickets the only allowance for "carry on" is 7-kgs for PAL and Cebu Pacific and with specification sizes of bags to use. For PAL if your bag goes beyond 7-kgs. (as of the moment) they allow up to 15kgs. baggage weight without extra charge, the "carry on" bag will be checked in as baggage.

Now, for 7-kgs. How do we travel light?

For example we can avoid bringing shampoo in plastic containers and bring sachets.

Pack a light weight clothings. Usually thick cotton blouses are heavy than silk or satin which doesn't absorb too much water.

And, this can be compare how we travel light in our everyday living. If we carry too much "thick cotton clothing" meaning we can easily absorb all the negative comments and energies, you'll end up being burden with so much unnecessary weight and gets you stressed and in return suffer from health problems. Being a cotton is not good because all the unimportant emotions like hatred, anger, jealousy, and talking negatively about your acquaintances or gossiping - can not be easily "dried", it stays there on and on until the sun shine through and your eyes will be opened to the truth in what you're doing are all wrong. Now what if there's no sun shining? The cotton will end up with the fungus rotten with foul smell.

Bad memories are hard to forget it's our natural defense mechanism to teach us not to do it again. But if we let Jesus - heal our awful memories - all the hatred and rotten fungus will be gone - though the memories are still there the pain are all gone.

I pray to all those whom I didn't know that I have hurt, let the sun shine through their hearts to dried up all the negative emotions I have caused and though the scars may still be there, let all the pain be completely gone.

Think about it, do you still want to travel like a cotton or foam?

DropBox the Magic Backup

A recent client of mine required me to use DropBox, at first I was excited to know what dropbox software is...and I found it is like comparing to a magic wallet or purse where you can find everything you needed in one place.

So for example in my case I have a laptop, desktop computer and Office computer, if I transfer files I need Flash Drive USB or emailing my own email attaching documents and important files.

Now, for the DropBox - the only thing you need is to download the DropBox software and make a dropbox folder in every computer you have then save the files in there, automatically it will reflect at the 2gig disk-space allocated online (dropbox online) and if you login to your other computer it will automatically synchronize or reflect all the files you have modified and saved in DropBox folder to all your PC's.

In shrt, if you have more than one computer, keeping tract of all your files can be problem, just by saving files in your DropBox folder it will show the same files on your laptop/desktop computers and even in your phone. And not only that, anything you put in the DropBox it will also be available in the online storage website automatically. So, whatever happens in your laptop/desktop computer you will still have a backup online at the DropBox website.

And to make it more exciting, you also have an online photo album automatically, whatever photos you save on that album (photo folder) you can let that folder create a link and can be given to your friends whomever you want it to see and download your photos.

Literary and Musical Contest of Eversun Software Phils. Corp. at Jack Ridge

I'm happy to witness the our outing in Eversun Software Phils. Corp. at Jack Ridge, there were 5 teams namely White, Yellow, Green, Red and Blue. Well since I was in charge of the attendance I have to know who really attended to those who said "YES". And so, the complete attendance team were the Green Team. Congratulations! Green one of my favorite color if you notice in most of my blogs green and yellow are never missing. Anyway they have their uniform shirt and props with the big letters "GREEN TEAM" (who can even think they are not prepared?)

For the yellow team I must say the duet between James and Gladys was perfect voice blending and the word "YELLOW" was very well emphasize (^_^) I told you I had fun being an audience.

And, I was amaze by the White team solo it was Ma'am Ju who sang the impromptu song "Torn from Natalie Imbruglia". (wala talaga practice)

And, also the Red team solo Ma. Theresa (wiwit) sang a capella all by herself (now that's the spirit yeah!)

Everything went well but I wasn't able to finish the program as I thought it was only 1:30pm up to 6:00pm and I was scheduled to go home early. We didn't know it was moved to 2:30pm to 8:00pm.

I visited this site PoliticalArena.com and was amaze from the that fact all the presidential and political candidates are here being exposed and their representatives answers queries in political forum. Which is very enlightening for people like me who lives in Mindanao and has no idea "who to vote" in the incoming 2010 presidential elections.

As you notice in the site - almost have it all - different tabs from candidates profiles, political issues, forum, news, videos, photos, calendar, announcement and election 101.

I have posted in their forum under Labor and employment asking a question regarding Less Tax for Differently abled persons so far nobody responded.

I do hope at least one of the candidates will answer my query.

Kadayawan sa Davao 2009 Celebration

Saturday of August 16, it was mid night sale in Gaisano Mall celebration of Kadayawan sale... My friends and I decided to have window shopping and may be buy some stuff that are needed... I reserve one Hawk bag that has a laptop compartment and was happy it was 10% discount that night (^_^)

And the most surprising part was we didn't know Empress was there? who was she again? ... they said she was a sexy actress or something... I did saw her personally as she was giving away all her accessories and T-shirts (na pinagawayan talaga halos mag-kasuntokan na).

There were many greetings I received including my family and friends. Like I said in my facebook status message

Aice Lahora: what's on my mind? uhmmm... I do not want to spend my birthday with "annoying tongue (people)... so insensitive... doesn't see, understand and respect other person's situation... I want - to just not to see them on my special day.

I'm happy it came true (^_^)

A sweet greetings from my cousins, Uncle and Auntie who live in the states I'm flattered they remembered my birthday (^_^)

A mini treat was held with my closest friends, they all made me happy (^_^) it is very true that a few true friends are more worthy than hundreds who are just pretending (to be friends).

God is always near, come what may, we have no fear (^_^)

Digital Filipino Club 2009 Event in Davao City

Janet Toral has done it again! ...another successful Digital Filipino bloggers club conference and enlightening night for us bloggers to know the updates in the most influential bloggers... Blogie had a speech about his DavaoDeli.com site, well I thought that he was fond of cooking but he explained that he doesn't know how to cook but loves to eat.. Geeesh! my presumption was wrong. See? never assume anything to a person just by reading their blogs...

There were insights shared by Janet Toral about the important points in blogging and how we catch attention using blogs... like the famous blog of Brian Gorrell (did I spelled the name right? forgive me if not) controversial... when he used influential person's true name to expose ...hmmm some issues? geeesh I really can't say much about it as I'm not 100% sure what was the issue all about (^_^) I can remember commenting on that blog too, and I'm thankful that my blogmates warn me not to get myself involve.

And of course my I met my good friend schoolmate Dara Abanilla ü she work at PAGCOR at least we get to meet on event such as this but we didn't get a chance to talk much.

Finally I met one of my org. mate, schoolmate and good friend Jaydee. After four years... we saw each other again Geeesh! I was really preoccupied by him... we had so much to talk about. And, was waiting for him to show up as we already agree to meet on Digital Filipino conference, I kept on looking at people around where on Earth he is, but I just couldn't see him. After awhile Elvie and I went to the ladies room and there we saw each other. We ended up (keep on) taking. (^_^)

One song in my mind now... A Christian song, that touches my heart, after hearing it - I got tears in my eyes...

I'm thankful for all these text messages I received from my friends they stood beside me through prayers and let me read this verses in the Bible:

Zech 13:9 I will bring one third through the fire, will refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. And I will answer them. I will say, "This is My people" And each one will say "The Lord is my God"

and from

John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world"

I can only say "God knows what is inside my heart". Even though how much you malign my name character and personality, I know and God knows who I am, and no man can destroy a true believer in God. The world may think I'm a fool but I don't care as I can never control all your presumptions.

The Album

"The Climb" is a single released from the "Hannah Montana: The Movie Soundtrack." The movie opened last weekend and garnered a hefty $34 million dollars -- the most for a G-rated live-action movie ever. The soundtrack features a bunch of light, teen-friendly songs. The spotlight is on Hannah Montana, of course, but Rascal Flatts, Taylor Swift and Billy Ray Cyrus all make appearances, as well.

The Song

Miley Cyrus has a winner with “The Climb”. The sound is country-influenced pop, featuring a soft piano intro and Miley's voice, which is incredible for a 16-year-old. Neither the music nor the lyrics are really original, but the song is powerful nonetheless.

“The Climb” is a song about the difficulties of life. It's about how, contrary to what some believe, life is never going to be easy.

That is the heart song of every Christian as we journey through this life. There is always going to be another mountain. Another friend who doesn't believe in Christ, another person who ridicules you because of your faith, another “good time” missed because you are standing by your convictions.

There will always be a struggle for righteousness, and sometimes you are going to lose. Miley Cyrus is a self-professed Christian, and you can see in this song that she has feeling for what it has meant to take that stand.

If one lyric of this song were different, “The Climb” could even be considered a Christian song, worthy of being sung in church.

What is Temptation?

It just so happen the yesterday radio ministry struck me and was confident that I made the right decision to stop the game called Barn Buddy

Temptation... what is temptation? In the world today, the moral fiber of the nation has been rotten, temptation take in all kinds of form like cheat and steal, you might as well take all the goods of others in order to gain what you think is right.

And since everybody is doing it you are influence by it and people will think and makes it right.

How can I be a different from the rest?

As children of God know you're one in Christ and joined in Jesus.

How can I cause Christ be involve in all that you do, the wickedness of the world that they think are right.

The world became so tolerant of sin, we can't see the black and white anymore.

All sins are against God. Most often time we realize that our standard is just for the world and not to God.

Only sin against man and not the sin against God we are seeing.

How can I be a difference?

Run from the situation, (just like Joseph did) resist temptation, avoid those situation where you know you are tempted to fall.

It feels so good when you resist temptation. And do not care what will the world will say just put your trust in Jesus and care what God will say if you don't resist temptation.

Satan has set so many traps that are in disguise to let our mind be corrupted and let us fall in the end.

The road to heaven is narrow but the read to hell is wide.

Go your way and sin no more. God has given us the victory and rules to follow. You are one in Christ and not allowed to do these sins. Think of Jesus, how he got hurt everytime you commit a sin.

Maybe you find yourself in trap and don't know how to get out the trap. Let Jesus be our savior and confess to repent.

What is friendship?

What exactly is "to be a friend" and "being a friend"? In short What is friendship?
From Merriam Webster dictionary Friendship means

I'm confuse on how "the world react" to "being a friend" or "being true friend". Most people are friendly with strangers specially if the person is completely handsome or sexy in other words physically attractive. Would you consider that as a friend?

I learned from attending the Bible study, someone said "you must know your friend first, to be a friend", in short know the person first... hmmm I thought "sounds like in the world today I can only have few friends" since I can sense right away if the person has a good or bad motives, and I can feel in terms of knowing the good or bad aura in a person. Never do I want to act like judgemental, but even if I give a certain person "the benefit of the doubt" still ends up "my senses are right".

In my interactions these days, if I sense something negative in the person's aura, I tend to be aloof, as the saying goes "prevention is better than cure", but if that person talk to me in a nice way, of course I will answer nicely. Still seldom will you see me to be the first one to drop a chat. Unlike before, I'm friendly, I don't care much even if I sense the negative side of the person in short "I had so many friends but who secretly hates me"... Is it
"Discouragement, Jealous, or envy"? the tool Satan use to those kind of people around me?
I can never say but all I know "hurt" is what I felt. Anyway, "those days" the past are completely healed and gone.

I watched the DVD movie Clique, there was this line of question "Would you have: a.) lots of friends who secretly hates you. Or b.) A friendless looser?

One thing I absolutely learned from experience "being friendless" or "with very few friends" doesn't mean you're "being a looser", all we need is to have a good relationship with our Lord God and everything will follow in "a good way" and not the other way around. Thoughts, thinking, and what we entertain in our brain are very important as we can never keep anything from God and it will show through the words we use, specially in expressions, "The tag line", as much as possible I don't use any, still I slip my tongue once in awhile but, am aware it is slowly dying in my habits.

Imagine being with people who secretly hates you, waiting for your every little mistake that they can emphasize and create a "tag line" to talk about and make fun with, in short "Blasphemy", the world wants it so bad that entertainment news never runs out of fans.

Eversun Software Phils Corp 2nd Anniversary

Tonight, we are celebrating the 2nd year anniversary of Eversun Software Phils Corp. here in Gap Farm pool side.

At first I don't want to attend because of the venue I knew there are many mosquitoes in that place and I'm very attractive and allergy to mosquitoes.

Anyway, the only thing can make me attend is a text from someone, if he will attend then I will too, otherwise I be home resting. Although our agent supervisor Althone Borja did said "he wanted everybody to attend if my problem is going home easily, he can give me a ride from Gap going to Maa road and I can ride a Maa jeep" I thought that is fair enough and a good deal but I don't want to grab that offer right away I was thinking if I can go home with Cesar Noel along with someone then it would be better. But alas! Cesar Noel went home so early before our dinner started as he was with his wife and daughter.

Anyway even if I take Althone offer I still need to be with someone as it would be evening and I'm not familiar with ("the route of") Maa jeep, we all know it's always much safer to be with someone that being alone.

I receive the awaited text around 12noon, he had the same decision as mine "if you attend I will otherwise I stay at home". Since I have many reason to attend:-

Althone offer and Ma'am Merju told me, "they spend as much as they could within the budget to make a summer party for all of us, the place and food was paid, good for 150 heads and we were only 120 persons all in all and if only 50% of the agents will attend there will be no more summer party" and we were given a ticket one by one ahead of time (~_o) maka-konshensha man ui kung hindi mag-attend

than my reason not to attend "if I didn't receive any text from someone" that's all.

Well, here na, "the text" and let me decide, so I said "okay lets attend! We'll see each other 4:30pm at NCCC Mall Maa cause its near in Gap Farm and we'll ride taxi from there". The plan succeeded and even more, I text My Humble Opinion "I'm going to attend the party". and he replied "to text Salted Bukayo and Your kind of blog" I told him "you text them nalang".

We all saw each other at NCCC Mall Maa - My Humble Opinion, Salted Bukayo and Christian well, anyway though it wasn't really "ahead of time plan", we instantly got (in the party) in a group".

Okay anyway, enough of my story, Now for the party... I was surprise yeah! the place was nice and full system music to the max! I give it a rate of 10 out of 10 for music, in one word "excellent!" I saw my officemates was "having fun" playing parlor games in the pool, organize by the Eversun Software Phils. Admin and Agents Representatives. Everything was well organize.

For the food we have Bar-B-Q pork, Pancit, fish fillete, chicken, and sauteed pork. Over all I would rate the party as 9/10. Why not perfect? Because, for those who don't have plans to have a dip in the pool, like me (I have my period) we have nothing else to do except stare to swimming having fun officemates, while the ambiance of the Gap Farm Pool side was really warm it doesn't have much air, I was sweating like I had a dip in the pool, imagine my long hair was getting wet by my sweat, and I was very thirsty, as soon as I came home I drank a litter of cold water. Whew! The place was absolutely design to make everybody get "In" the pool.

I would like to thank all the Admin and Agents Representatives for making this party for us. I may not be excited to attend at first but after awhile of thinking all the effort, I convince some officemates and even prayed that atleast the attendees will be more than 70% so the admin wouldn't notice who didn't attend. But I'm happy to be a part of our Eversun Software Phils Corp. 2nd year anniversary party and the attendance reached 99 or more!

Sorry, I got home early around 8:00pm got many reasons to leave -I need to be early for church tomorrow and I'm very thirsty/ perspiring like I'm in sauna bath!.
Anyway it was worth it.

Holy Week Sacrifices

Do you believe in Holy week sacrifices?
Do you expect that when you made those Holy week sacrifices your prayers will be answered?
For Christian Catholics these are some of theHoly week sacrifices tradition: not eating beef, pork or any meat and refrain from having fun.
I can remember when we were still kids, having vacation with cousins in our province at our lola's house, she gets so angry if we keep on running around, riding bicycle (I used to ride 2-wheels bike when I was between 6-9y/o) and climb the star apple tree, eat meat during Holy week Lola will be furious, (she would strike a wall, when we hear the sting ray's tail or "Latigo" we all go inside our rooms and pretend to be sleeping) she is really strict "segrado Catholico". Our food was all fish recipes including dried fish "daing and dilis" all the vegetables and sea foods we can eat except pork, goat and beef.

In my humble opinion, if you read in the Bible the part where Jesus has done all the sacrifices in order for us to be save and all we need to do is to follow Him. There's no other way to God except through Jesus.

Hmmm would I still consider sacrificing on Holy week? Like those "Not to eat foods". No I don't sacrifice in that area.
I wouldn't consider it sacrificing but I have made a promise to myself ever since I started to study in college, I will not use computers and mobile phones for 3-days from Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Black Saturday... Why? Because it was during those days that my prayers to Divine Mercy was answered. Divine Mercy is Jesus. Still I wouldn't consider myself like my lola a "segrado Catholico".

Hybrid? hmmm I'm a Christian, just a Christian who follow Christ message in the Bible. Sometimes I do fail, we all do, Who can't? As human being nobody's perfect.
Don't be a CEO Christians as Pastor Ken told us "don't remember Christ on Christmas Easter Only (CEO)" Easter is part of the Holy week. We should always remember Him everyday of our daily life.
Anyway during Holy Thursday, good Friday, and Black Saturday my body automatically shuts down all I wanted to do is sleep and sleep is my ride going to dream world.

Honestly speaking, before I made knittingInstructor.com I had no idea how to knit. All I know was crochet. I read the contents of knittingInstructor.com and bought a pair knitting needles and tried it myself, oh it was quite hard at first cause the knitting needles that I have bought was metal (no other kind knitting needles available like wood) unlike wood the yarn won't easily slip. At last after 2-years of waiting, finally our year book 2007 is here!

This is my first year book. Yeah! I'm writing it right my first graduation ever kaya first year book.
I'm thankful to Almighty God my dream about having a bachelor's degree (even though I stopped for 10years) has come true.

I never gave up that dream and thankful for unexpected achievements in my college years hmmm well not all are included in our provided space beside our toga picture. (so many to mention that the space provided is not enough) ana daw ko ka-active sa USeP. Anyway its okay, humility is much better, God knows all my achievements and that's enough for me. Sometimes I thought of I'm ready to rest in peace with God.

I do wish to get married soon have a good Christian -God fearing husband, someone whom I can finally give my first kiss and true love. my heart belongs to Jesus so you can say that my standard are high when it comes to personality and character, I did saw someone who meet that quality; he's much older and sadly far away from me at the moment (physicaly speaking) though we communicate once in awhile through mobile as friends lang po. We first met personaly on 2003 upon enrollment sa CT building and we have all the reasons God has made for us to communicate everyday at the campus, we lost seeing each other on 2006 before our graduation on 2007 he gave me his contact details like mobile and email.

And we just saw each other last month accidentally, He noticed me first and tap at my back, I was speechless that time.
Ganyan kasi ako kapag may special feelings ako sa tao, smile lang ako at tahimik Hmmm he told me to email him my whereabouts life story etc.:) I haven't tried to... coz I have no idea if he has some special feelings bout me too I never gave him any sign, I want him to do the first move. kasi tahimik talaga ako, siya lang parati ko pinapasalita

Anyway, I'm happy with our friendship. Period. Now, why did I ever mention him here? Because he is one part of my college life. dami siya na share sakin bout electrical/electronics

Anyway I'm not expecting he would love me or anything more from our friendship as long as he's happy with his life ok na un sa akin.
I'm 100% available and happy with my life.

God knows my heart, my life, and has special plans for me. I wouldn't mind if I'll end up being single. I would rather be likeso than ending up on wrong person.

Back in the 2007 year book, thank you dear God for giving me this chance of the lifetime to be added at the year book. And thanks to all technoquest moderators and staff 2006-2007, the dean and professors of College of Technology, to all my BCT classmates and schoolmates, governors and mayors at CT, CAS, SAEC, ENGrng, Education and Institute of Computing and thank you to all organizational heads in campus club organisation (CCO) Dexter Lulu, Lizel, Cindy of Red Cross, the political students at Obrero Campus Student service the (OCSC) William Braza and the governors who supported me... Sa mga fraternity, brotherhood and sisterhood in our campus maraming salamat.

Special thanks to Ma'am Emily Madrona, my adviser in Peer Counselors Society (PCS) and all the members and officers of PCS, this organization has the 60% of my attention, yup only 40% on my studies. (kung sa ulam pa PCS ang asin, hindi pwede mawala sa everyday schedule ko) because of PCS, I met and was recognize in different colleges' dean and profesors.

"Love all" as what Jesus said "Love thy neighbors as your self" ... is never easy to do, especially if someone has hurt us. I can say it for my own experience, how would you start loving someone who has been hurting you in so many ways? Physically and emotionally at the same time, and as time passes by, as I grow mature knowing the world doesn't work in "Love" at all times, I develope this shell of defense to make thy self safe.

Loving the un-loveable person is one of the commandments of Jesus Christ. This was our lecture at the Bible study last night. I felt surprise to hear it was related to Love thy neighbor as yourself. Oh yes it is. And now my biggest question is "where will I start?".
I do pray everyday to learn to forgive and let all the deepest hatred be eradicated and be healed by Jesus. Still as a human being, I can never deny the fact in this world not all persons think the same as true Christians do, NOT all are believers of God neither do they have faith in Jesus.

As I'm writing this, I realize deep inside of my heart there's this hatred that I have not yet face to remove, the hatred of those people whom who are so insensitive of what they do or say... doesn't care even if they know you're already hurt... Who looks like a lamb but has the thoughts of the devil...
Just to see anything that belongs to that kind of person (or the person itself) would make me activate that shell I develope, make sure I have nothing to do or even say a single word to that person... In short staying away or "an escape" seem the most easiest thing to do.

So can you tell me,
How can you love an un-loveable person?

I look at you as my brother
But you look at me as a competitor

I have my heart for you
But you broke it in two

The shattered pieces of the love I gave
Are now inside the deepest grave

If you change your wicked ways
Maybe then it will help to find its place

Valentines Day History

Today is Friday the 13th but tomorrow will be Valentines' Day... hmmm...

Where do Valentines day came from?

For so many Valentines' day has passed in my life, it was only today that I researched from the Internet and make a post out of it (this is for my record and nothing more.)
I have read five different websites which I won't include the URL in this post since I'm not going to copy-paste each and every word I have read. . .
Anyway, the first and second site had the same thought they stated that; the original details was not clear but it was based on the priest named Valentine way back in the reign of Roman emperor Claudius II aka “Claudius the Cruel” in 270 AD when the Christianity was on severe persecution because men those days wouldn't want to go to a war as they do not want to leave their wives and engaged girlfriends, to solve this issue Claudius II decided to put an annulment in all marriages/engagements and no more weddings are to be performed.

But the priest Valentine disobey the emperor's command as he believes that “the sanctity of marriage” is part of God's plan for mankind, so he secretly continued the wedding ceremonies for Christian couples. When the emperor Claudius II discovered; he ordered to arrest Valentine and killed him, it was a coincidence Valentines' death was on February 14, 270 AD.

Christians wanted to remember the priest good deeds that every February 14th of the year Valentines' Day was celebrated.

I also read that one of the traditions in Valentines' day celebration was putting female names on one jar and another jar for male names then they would draw one name on each jar at the same time for partnership in Valentines' evening feast.
Another site I read was the Roman traditions' where a young boy and girl were to be partnered for the entire festival/or whole year and in return they would fall in love and marry.

Nevertheless, whatever or wherever the Valentines' Day started it is never the only time of the year where we can express our loving feelings to our special someone, like other holidays i.e. Christmas we have to love our neighbors in every day of the year.

Eden Nature Park

Eden Nature Park... The entire place have spectacular view, I'm thankful how God created everything, the beautiful creatures and plants. Now going to Eden Nature Park it only takes around more or less than 35mins (from Toril, Davao City) to reach the reception area of Eden Nature Park. The entire place measures 80hectares but the fully develope is only 66hectares (tourist spot is 60Hectares another)...

God let Ayala manage the entire area, not the Zobel de Ayala but the old Ayala family as the tour guide stated.

Anyway the tour guide also said the name "Eden" Nature Park didn't came from the Bible and that was the reason there were no Adam and Eve statues but they more emphasizing the native tribes of Mindanao.

We spent 420 pesos per head for Day Tour accommodation that includes buffet eat all you can lunch. The food are delicious specially the hmmm I'm not sure what's its called but it look like the "rice balls" (all rice in the ouside with ground pork in its core). And of course the fresh vegetable salad are yummy (^_^).

After lunch we went to the rest room I was very surprise to feel the "ice cold" water in their faucet oh well its my first time to experience washing my hands in extremely cold water.

I received some few text messages yesterday Sunday from friends, officemates and relatives that Today was holiday!

I have never heard from news (or in our admin) that our President Arroyo did declare a special holiday today but since the text messages comes from working people themselves, and said that they don't have duty today; I was curious, and so I told our admin this morning and I think it was Ms. Mai who researched at the Internet... after wards she told me that today was just the usual working day and not holiday.

Then finally I research myself on the Internet and found this from Department Of Labor and Employment (DOLE):

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has declared Wednesday, February 9, 2005, as a special working holiday throughout the country for the observance of the Chinese Lunar New Year, Labor and Employment Acting Secretary Manuel G. Imson today announced.

In an advisory to all employers in the country's private sector, Imson said the President's declaration is contained in Proclamation No. 756 she issued through Executive Secretary Eduardo R. Ermita on January 11, 2005.

According to the labor and employment acting chief, the rules for declared special working holidays as provided for under DOLE Memorandum Circular No. 01 issued on March 8, 2004 shall apply as follows:

1. For work performed on such days, an employee is entitled only to his/her basic rate.

2. No premium pay is required since work performed on such days is considered work on ordinary working days.

Cats and Dogs at Rizal street Davao City

It was my first time to go at Cats and Dog at Rizal Street Davao City, because some of college classmates were there and they wanted to see me and join with them, at first I was hesitant because of the place was located near beside so many bars... but they assured me that they will wait outside as soon as they receive a text from me...

Anyway I went there with a taxi, hmmm about the place it was a videoke bar with small rooms for each group, the room was air-conditioned but not that well ventilated, so in short "mainit talaga".
Though the ambiance was not that comfortable we had fun because of the enthusiast in my classmates lalo na sa part ng kanchawan between papa ramon and mama ice daw! wahaha! here are the pictures (^_^)

Oh by the way it was a good thing that there was no drinking involve all of us were good cats and dogs (^_^).

Blue Jaz Samal Vacation Leave

I have been on vacation leave for more than a week now (^_^) and luckily our plans to go at Samal beaches escapade/outing finally push through (it was the first time of Maribeth Borre)...

Our original plan was to go at Isla Reta since it was rainy and going to Isla Reta island is crossing open sea, very far, so we decided to go at Kaputian again malakas daw alon at delikado finally we got to Blue Jaz Resort.

The place was serene and peaceful, most of the people we saw there are decent and I also saw some foreigners, I guess the owner of Blue Jaz resort is a foreigner...

Facilities are complete and well design including the bathrooms with hot and cold showers, toilets, cottages and open cottage... I really like the place and want to go back there if I have a chance.

Eto ang nakakatawang stolen shot (^_^) murag lang siya hubog but actually he was very tired from his flight kakagaling lang niya night shift working at Accenture in Manila deretcho kagad Samal with us.

For the overnight stay including the open cottage is P220 per head and the palm boat fee is 30 back and forth, all that expenses you can use all of the pools available in Blue Jaz resort and trampoline (I didn't dare to... because I heard my friends said their knees and waist was aching a bit).

There are closed cottages for P2,600 overnight stay (2:00pm to 12noon the following day) good for two persons (and I think additional pay of P300 per head in excess of two) with air-con and complete with bathroom and toilet I would like to try that in the future (^_^)

And dormitories are also available if you want to stay for a week or two...

Also bar, restaurant with wifi is available (actually pinag-isa lang ang bar at restaurant) but I would rate the Wifi as 3 out of 10 because when I used it cuts off most of the time but the signal was ok during the night I could rate it as 6 since I can't even load any of my blogs but just check emails and chat using Fring.

In Blue Jaz resort restaurant a small bottle of coke is P25, 1000ml of water is also P25, a cup of chocolate drink is again P25 (we ordered in the early morning as we were having breakfast) and a cup of hot water is P5 so in short I think its better if you bring sachets of tea bags, coffee, or chocolate drink for practicality.
Surprisingly Blue Jaz resort bar have all kinds of basic drinks including alcoholic.

We brought a red wine along with us, we thought it was also included in corsage of P220 (overnight stay) as I talked with a lady via phone "you can bring food and drinks".

The bottle of wine was so obvious because (we just bought it at Victoria Plaza before going to Maryknol Beach Side resort where the Blue Jaz palm-boat is waiting) it was in Carlos Rossi bag.
T'was a good thing all of us were honest, and said "sorry we really didn't know". So the lady then said to stay in down in open cottage before going up, because we can be charge for another 300 pesos bringing that wine.

Day time charge is P90 that is from 6:00am to 2:00pm as they said but I saw most of them are going home around 4:00pm. For the overnight stay its P220 from 2:00pm to 12noon the following day.

How to Identify Sexual Harassment

Note any requests for sexual favors. Even if the person is not a superior, it is still sexual harassment.

Pay attention to any physical conduct sexual in nature. Even shoulder massages are considered sexual harassment in some cases, depending on their nature. Inform the person that it creates an uncomfortable situation. If it continues, it is sexual harassment.

Think about the effect of the behavior. Sexual harassment affects the person being harassed negatively. Recognize who the person responsible is. The person can be anyone. It is not even necessary that they are a coworker. Anyone who meets the criteria for sexual harassment that is in the workplace, even just visiting, could sexually harass employees.

Have you ever seen someone who act that way? Then somebody has to do something to make that person knows you have been harass it can via talking to the person or through actions. "Actions speaks louder than words".

1600's: The Puritans made it illegal to mention St. Nicolas' name. People were not allowed to exchange gifts, light a candle, or sing Christmas carols.

17th century: Dutch immigrants brought with them the legend of Sinter Klaas.

1773: Santa first appeared in the media as St. A Claus.

1804: The New York Historical Society was founded with St. Nicolas as its patron saint. Its members engaged in the Dutch practice of gift-giving at Christmas.

1939: Copywriter Robert L. May of the Montgomery Ward Company created a poem about Rudolph, the ninth reindeer. May had been "often taunted as a child for being shy, small and slight." He created an ostracized reindeer with a shiny red nose who became a hero one foggy Christmas eve. Santa was part-way through deliveries when the visibility started to degenerate. Whatever the history of Christmas, what's important is that we celebrate it whole heartedly... meaning giving without expecting something in return I guess that is the main reason that we have to celebrate something in a year to remind us that "Giving" is the essence of "Christ" living in our heart.

Finally last night after work, I went straight to SM mall in Ecoland to claim the Nokia 2680 slide mobile that I have won (^_^)
Thank you Lord God for this blessing I was given a wisdom to buy it at Nokia SM Mall branch.

Yesterday, I went to SM mall alone because Joy had some other plans, I'm too shy to even ask favor with other officemates to accompany with such event...

Anyway, the people in Nokia at SM Mall welcome and was happy to see me “their winner and choosing Nokia SM branch" in claiming the said prize instead at Nokia Gaisano Mall, some how I like the services in Nokia SM Mall (than Gaisano Mall), all of them are friendly, accommodating, and bonus package is amusing in such a way customer will come back again to really buy on their products. Imagine, my house is more near at Nokia Gaisano Mall but I chose to claim it at SM Mall when our office just transferred in Bonifacio street which is obviously very near to Nokia Gmall branch...

And so, they asked me the registered letter from Nokia for them to photocopy (report purposes), confirmation text message and etc... and even told me that my name was published in Inquirer, I told them I saw it in the newspaper it was on full page advertisement of Nokia at Daily Inquirer you can see the picture here

I like the customer care services of Nokia SM Mall Branch, specially Isabel Molina, Harry Go and Gean Vallares.

Harry follow-up my concerns if ever I text him regarding the E51 different settings' connectivity in wifi. Although I can say E51 mobile is not that hard to use.

I want to thank them all the personel in Nokia SM Mall Branch for entertaining me diligently, when I was close in buying E51 Finland at the nearby cellphone store beside Nokia inside SM Mall. Harry made a good deal with me. What can I say all of them are good in sales talk... kaya ayon napabili tuloy ako sa kanila and have become one of the winners of Nokia 2680 slide

For my review in Nokia 2680, the ringing tone are very clear and not bad for a low end Nokia cellphone, VGA picture taken are clear enough to make it as phone wallpaper, it also has a repeated alarm clock that can let you choose what day(s) it is to be repeated.
I tried the radio, was surprise on "how to use it?" for first time usage; I didn't hear anything, then there was a choice saying "scan for all station" it scanned all of the station available then I was able to hear "all the stations" funny noh sabay-sabay?!... hindi!... of course not at the same time gulo kaya noon!... but it was one by one, all of the stations with high signal are being saved automatically and all I have to do is browse them one by one (^_^) galing niya noh? klaro baya kaayo! super lakas
I even tried recording one song from a radio and made it as a ringing tone... nakakatawa pa talaga I was using a headset and experimenting at our office, making the recorded radio song into an alarm tone, I thought it was being played as in "headset lang" yun pala na loudspeaker na! I didn't notice till some of my seatmates were looking at me, kasi the song was "I found a very special love in you..." ahihihih!

So far Nokia 2680 Slide mobile phone is perfect for everyday use i.e. text, call, organizer, and being classy at the worth P5,000 Philippines pesos.

Aice with Isabel, I can never forget this lady as she was the first one who entertained me way back January of this year, when I was "only" planning which one to buy either Nokia N82 or Sony Ericsson W960i (but I ended buying Nokia E51(^_^) Anyway about Isabel, she had a relative named same as mine, she can't even believe it at first because my name is very rare (oh yes it is) and last night when she gave me her calling card I saw that her surname was the same as my ex-BF (long distance relationship for 6years) (Y_Y) wahahah now talking about coincidence!?!? what more can I ask for?
